Seven-Year-Old Boy Stabbed to Death in Beit Shemesh, Family Mourns Double Tragedy

The family of seven-year-old Hillel Mordechai Dadon, who was fatally stabbed in Beit Shemesh, is struggling to cope with the devastating loss. The tragedy comes just a week after the family lost another relative in a car accident. Hillel's four-year-old cousin, who was seriously injured in the same stabbing incident, is now in stable condition at the hospital. According to relatives, Hillel was expected to enjoy simple childhood joys like carrying a new backpack and playing with friends, making the violent act incomprehensible. "What kind of evil dares to harm a pure child who never wronged anyone? Our hearts are shattered," a family member said.

The stabbing occurred during a birthday celebration in Beit Shemesh. A 15-year-old family member who was watching the children witnessed the attack. The father of one of the children found them injured near a pool. Emergency medical teams performed prolonged resuscitation on Hillel before transporting him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The police arrested a 25-year-old local resident on suspicion of carrying out the stabbing. Investigators are exploring all leads, including a possible prior dispute between families. The suspect's father was also detained for questioning.
