Singer Shimon Buskila Responds to Threat Allegations After Police Questioning

Israeli singer Shimon Buskila has publicly addressed recent allegations that he threatened his ex-partner via WhatsApp messages. Buskila acknowledged being involved in a complicated relationship with many ups and downs but denied ever harming anyone, stating, "Violence has never been my way and never will be." He emphasized his preference to keep the matter private out of genuine concern for his ex-partner.

Buskila was detained for questioning by police on Friday on suspicion of issuing threatening messages, including statements interpreted as "I will not let you go." After a swift investigation lasting about an hour, police concluded he had not threatened his ex-partner. He was released under restrictive conditions and was not placed under house arrest. Buskila said he spent the following day freely with close friends.

His representatives expressed trust in the police investigation. This is not Buskila's first legal issue related to domestic matters; in January 2006, he was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a then-partner but was later released.

The singer's response and the police findings highlight the complexity of the case and his insistence on non-violence despite the accusations.
