Singer Shimon Buskila Responds to Sexual Harassment Allegations, Denies Violence

Israeli singer and songwriter Shimon Buskila addressed allegations against him for the first time following reports that he was questioned by police last weekend at the Lev Tel Aviv station in the Yarkon district. The investigation began after his ex-partner filed a formal complaint accusing him of harassment and threats. According to her, Buskila refused to accept their breakup and repeatedly contacted her via calls and messages.

Buskila was summoned by police on Friday, gave his version of events, and participated in a confrontation with his ex-partner where the allegations were presented. He was released under restrictive conditions, but the investigation is ongoing. In a detailed message to his fans, Buskila described the relationship as "very complex" with ups and downs but firmly denied any violence or threats, emphasizing that he has never harmed anyone and that violence is not part of his character.

He also clarified reports about his release conditions, stating that after a brief police interrogation, he returned home and was not under arrest or house arrest. Buskila reassured his audience of his commitment to his music and upcoming performances, expressing gratitude for their support. The police continue to examine the claims and circumstances, with no decision yet on further legal action against the singer.
