Cought on Camera Hiding in an Abandoned Post, Terrorist Who Infiltrated from Lebanon Is Eliminated

In exclusive footage published tonight (Tuesday) on KAN News, the terrorist who infiltrated Israel from Lebanon is seen after being killed inside an abandoned IDF guard post where he had been hiding. The incident took place shortly before 3:00 p.m., when the terrorist crossed into Israeli territory from Lebanon in the Wadi Hunin area, north of Moshav Margaliot, and opened fire at IDF forces deployed on the border. The terrorist hid in the post, hundreds of meters from the moshav’s homes, and was killed after the fighters opened fire at him. There were no casualties among IDF forces.

Shortly before the incident, IDF forces had rushed to the area because of a brush fire. During the event, one of the fighters spotted the terrorist by chance as he was running toward the abandoned post, reported that he had seen him, and then opened fire along with the other fighters. The terrorist was wearing Hezbollah camouflage uniform, was wearing Crocs sandals, and was armed with a handgun and a knife. According to assessments, he intended to infiltrate one of the Israeli communities in the Ramim Ridge area. After the incident, commando fighters were dispatched to search the area, out of concern that the killed terrorist had not acted alone. The serious and unusual incident is now being investigated by the commander of the Northern Command, Maj. Gen. Rafi Milo.
