Penina Shulman, Wife of United Torah Judaism Faction Manager, Passes Away at 72
Penina Shulman, a respected and modest woman from the Ramot Poland neighborhood in Jerusalem, passed away at the age of 72. Born in Givatayim to Ze'ev Greenshpan and Leah, she was married to Amitai Shulman, a prominent editor of the Hamosad newspaper and a longtime manager of the United Torah Judaism faction in the Knesset. Known for her kindness and humility, Penina was admired for her acts of charity and warm demeanor toward everyone she met. In recent years, she endured severe illnesses with quiet acceptance and without complaint. She passed away on the eve of Shabbat, during the Torah portion of Shoftim. Her funeral took place on Saturday night at 10:30 PM, departing from the Shamgar Funeral Home in Jerusalem to Har HaMenuchot cemetery. Her family is sitting shiva at their home in Ramot Poland, Jerusalem. Her soul is remembered with blessings and respect.
