Four-Year-Old Boy Found Safe After Going Missing at Ashkelon's Delilah Beach

A four-year-old boy named Younes Abu Ghanem from Rahat went missing at Delilah Beach in Ashkelon on Saturday afternoon, prompting a large-scale search operation. Police forces and numerous volunteers conducted extensive searches after losing contact with the child, raising serious concerns for his safety. The police also sought public assistance by sharing the boy's description to aid in the swift location of Younes. After several hours of intensive searching, the boy was found safe and returned to his family.

This incident follows a similar case in Ashkelon about two weeks earlier, when another four-year-old boy, Yuval Kogen, disappeared during a family picnic near Hofit Hills. Like Younes, Yuval was located after prolonged and coordinated search efforts involving security forces and volunteers. Both cases highlight the challenges of child safety in crowded public spaces and the rapid response by local authorities and community members in Ashkelon.
