Residents in northern frontier area told to enter shelters after suspicious movement detected

Residents in the western sector of the border line in northern Israel were instructed to enter protected spaces “following the detection of suspicious movement in the area.”

Against the backdrop of U.S. President Donald Trump’s threats to strike Iran “even today,” Ibrahim Azizi, chairman of the Iranian parliament’s national security committee, said, “This time, the war will not be limited to this area alone.”

Build security and prosperity for all our children. And once Hezbollah is dismantled, the possibilities will be endless, and the sky is the limit.”

U.S. President Donald Trump said in an interview that “the Pakistanis are working with the Iranians to do the right thing. We are very close to a deal, but they keep causing us problems little by little.” According to him, “We are going to hit Iran very hard, they should sign a deal. We hit them hard yesterday and we will do it today as well.”

The IDF spokesperson confirmed that following the alerts that were activated a short time ago over an enemy aircraft intrusion in the Shlomi area, the Air Force intercepted a suspicious aerial target identified in the area where IDF forces are operating in southern Lebanon. Alerts were activated according to policy.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that “Israel’s strikes in Syria and Lebanon have reached a point where they also threaten Turkey. We see malicious initiatives led by Israel in the Mediterranean as well, no one should pursue adventures there.” He also threatened Cyprus, saying: “Our response will be clear and strong if the rights of Turks and Turkish Cypriots are violated in the eastern Mediterranean. Israel’s aggression is a threat to the entire world, it must be stopped.”

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said that “war is certainly not in the country’s interest, but only in the enemy’s dream will they see surrender from us or a relinquishing of our positions.” He added, “Martyrdom is a great victory, but we can in no way accept a situation in which the enemy can kill our commanders so easily.”
