Friend of Murdered Benyahu Razi Denounces Accusers’ Claims as Lies

Metanya, a friend of the late Benyahu Razi who was present at the Jerusalem apartment during the murder, strongly refuted allegations made by the accused women that Benyahu was violent towards them and had confined them. Speaking to N12 on August 15, 2026, Metanya called these claims "lies" and said the women were fabricating stories in hopes of receiving lighter sentences. He recalled a video call that took place in the apartment and denied that the women asked him to apologize to Benyahu, contradicting their version of events.

Metanya himself was injured by a stab wound during the attack and was the one who called emergency medical services. He described trying to stop Benyahu’s bleeding and urgently summoned help, recounting his distress in a recorded call to Magen David Adom. He expressed hope that the accused would stop lying and tell the truth about what really happened.

According to police investigations, Agham Tzarfy and Shilat Huta rented the apartment for the weekend and invited Benyahu and Metanya to join. After several days of partying, the women accused the men of violence and fled to another apartment belonging to Linor Sasson, whom they did not previously know. Police found that the women armed themselves with weapons and attacked Benyahu and Metanya. Agham admitted in interrogation that one attacker struck Benyahu with a hammer and another with an iron rod.

Police officer Rotem Hila Zaken revealed that during the investigation, Agham was caught saying she planned another murder if not detained. The accused showed no remorse, with Agham even smiling during the live video of the attack. Linor Sasson was described as facilitating the murder by driving her son to commit the crime and attempting to obstruct the investigation by helping him flee Jerusalem.

The case remains under investigation as authorities continue to piece together the events leading to Benyahu Razi’s death and the roles of all involved parties.
