Actress Rotem Abuhav Publicly Endorses MK Hili Tropper Ahead of Elections

Actress and comedian Rotem Abuhav has publicly declared her support for Hili Tropper, chairman of the "Zionist Home - Reservists" party, ahead of the upcoming Israeli elections in just over two months. In an Instagram story, Abuhav shared her long-standing acquaintance with Tropper from his days as an education director at Branco Weiss School in Ramla. She praised his commitment to families of the wounded, hostages, and bereaved, highlighting his quiet and dedicated work. "We need leaders like you, honest and loving Israel," she wrote, wishing him success in his new political path.

Tropper responded warmly, thanking Abuhav for her big heart and connection to those in need. Tropper entered politics in 2013 with the Labor Party, later joining Benny Gantz's "Blue and White" alliance in 2019. He served as Minister of Culture and Sports, then briefly as Minister of Science and Technology. During the "Sword of Iron" conflict, he was appointed minister without portfolio. In May, Tropper left Blue and White and founded a new party called "Foundations of Israel." He subsequently allied with Yoaz Hendel's Reservists party to form the joint list "Zionist Home."
