Hapoel Tel Aviv to Return to Hichal Shlomo for Home Games
Hapoel Tel Aviv announced that it will host its Israeli Basketball Premier League home games next season at Hichal Shlomo. The decision follows a fan survey published in February 2026 and comes after the club finalized all commercial agreements with the sports halls on Sunday, June 14.
The club said the change will take effect from the 2026/27 season. In its statement, Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv said, “In continuation of the results of the fan survey published in February 2026, and after we completed today, 14.6, the commercial agreements with the sports halls, we announce that starting from the 2026/27 season Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv will host its league games at Hichal Shlomo.”
The announcement came as Hapoel Tel Aviv was preparing to begin its playoff final series on Tuesday against its long-time rival, Maccabi Tel Aviv. The club did not give further details about the move beyond the survey results and the completed agreements.
