Ariel Barkovitch, Miki Barkovitch's Grandson, Joins Maccabi Ramat Gan Senior Basketball Team

Ariel Barkovitch, 17, grandson of former basketball player Miki Barkovitch and son of Roee Barkovitch, is advancing to the senior team of Maccabi Ironi Ramat Gan after a strong season with their youth squad. Standing 1.85 meters tall and playing as a point guard, Ariel is known for his athleticism, aggressive style, good mid-range shooting, and high work ethic. He will also play on a dual contract with Hapoel Gezer/Naan in the national league.

Ariel expressed excitement about this professional step, stating that he has dreamed of playing in the Premier League from a young age and feels honored to join the senior team of Maccabi Knaan Ramat Gan, a club he described as prestigious and professionally run with a strong focus on developing young talent.
