Tourism and Family Activities Flourish at Kibbutz Tzova in Jerusalem Hills

Kibbutz Tzova, located in the Jerusalem Hills, offers a unique blend of historical significance and modern tourism experiences. Founded in 1948 by Palmach veterans, Holocaust survivors, and immigrants from Turkey, the kibbutz now combines its rich heritage with hospitality and leisure. The area features an ancient oak tree symbolizing the long history of the region.

Central to the kibbutz's tourism is Hotel Tzova, which overlooks the scenic Judean Hills and nearby vineyards. The hotel provides 64 spacious family suites, a café, synagogue, sports courts, a seasonal swimming pool, a kosher dining room, and ample parking. Every Friday from 11:00 to 14:00, the hotel hosts a dairy brunch with a variety of fresh salads, cheeses, homemade breads, soups, pies, cakes, and other delicacies. Adjacent to the park is Galita Chocolate Farm, which offers chocolate workshops for all ages, a café, homemade ice cream, chocolate desserts, and a shop selling pralines and chocolate products. A new dairy coffee cart recently opened on Galita's pleasant terrace.
