Despite his rising profile, Ahmed has yet to be called up for the Israeli national team’s upcoming UEFA Nations League matches, where competition for his position is strong. However, if he maintains his current form, a national team role could be forthcoming. Be’er Sheva’s investment of just half a million shekels in Ahmed from Hapoel Akko has proven to be a bargain, highlighting the club’s ability to develop talent from the national league.
