Former General Says Israel Rejects Gaza Reconstruction Without Hamas Disarmament

Retired Brigadier General Oren Solomon commented on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's recent announcement rejecting the 15-point agreement related to Gaza. Solomon explained that Netanyahu's strategy hinges on Hamas refusing to disarm, which Israel uses as a pretext to delay reconstruction efforts in Gaza. He further observed that Hamas is currently consolidating civilian control in Gaza, while Israel's attention is focused on Lebanon and Iran.
