Einav Zangoker Accuses Yair Golan of Reneging on Political List Guarantee

Einav Zangoker publicly addressed reports about her potential entry into politics, revealing that Yair Golan, chairman of the Democratic Party, had promised her a secured spot near the top of his party's candidate list. She said Golan repeatedly confirmed this commitment and even asked her to lower her media profile during the process. However, he ultimately withdrew the offer.

Zangoker explained that the initial proposal came in February, when discussions about dissolving the Knesset began. After careful consideration, she agreed to the arrangement and kept it confidential as requested. She refrained from exploring other political options or participating in primaries, fulfilling her part of the agreement.

Despite this, Golan changed his position, prompting Zangoker to clarify that she will not enter the Knesset but will continue her public activism independently. She expressed gratitude for the public support she has received and emphasized her commitment to working for the Israeli people and repairing societal issues outside the parliamentary framework.

Zangoker also criticized the current government and called for unity and healing in Israeli society following the upcoming elections. She concluded by pledging to maintain a clear and strong voice for national reform and urged public support for her efforts.
