Social Media Star Alex Schultz Shares Emotional Birth Story After Complications

Social media influencer Alex Schultz and his wife Linoy welcomed their first child over the past weekend. Schultz shared an emotional post on Monday revealing that the birth was complicated by signs of preeclampsia, bleeding, and a placenta that was slow to detach. Despite these challenges, he expressed deep gratitude to the medical team at Ichilov Hospital, especially Professor Yariv Yogev, head of the Lis Maternity and Women’s Hospital, for their dedicated care.

Alongside a photo of the couple tearfully celebrating, Schultz thanked the nurses, doctors, and hospital staff who supported them throughout the difficult delivery. He also gave special thanks to Shelly Meshel Yogev, Professor Yogev’s wife, who maintained close contact with the family during the process.

In his post, Schultz invited followers to support the Instagram page commemorating Libi Cohen Meguri, a 22-year-old infantry officer and Israeli equestrian champion from Tel Aviv who was tragically killed in the October 7 massacre while trying to escape a party in Re’im. Cohen Meguri is remembered fondly by her family and friends as a bright, energetic, and beloved young woman. The tribute page aims to honor her memory.
