Two Drivers Severely Injured in Crash Near Ramat Naftali Airlifted to Rambam Hospital
A serious traffic accident occurred on Sunday morning on Road 886 near Ramat Naftali, involving a car and a minibus. Both drivers, aged 43 and 53, were trapped inside their vehicles and sustained severe injuries. Emergency teams from Magen David Adom (MDA) extricated the men and provided life-saving medical treatment on site. The 43-year-old car driver suffered multiple traumatic injuries, while the 53-year-old minibus driver sustained abdominal trauma. Both were airlifted by MDA's Hatzalah Air helicopter to Rambam Medical Center in Haifa, where their conditions remain critical. Paramedics Hussain Halihal, Eliyahu Shamkha, and Mohammed Halihal reported the extensive damage to the vehicles and the severity of the injuries upon arrival. The rescue operation and medical evacuation were completed promptly to ensure the best possible care for the victims.
