Former PM Residence Employee Defends Sara Netanyahu Amid Allegations
Lior Atiya, a former hair stylist at the Prime Minister's residence, spoke out on Galei Yisrael radio on Sunday, responding to serious allegations made by Yoav Horowitz, former Chief of Staff and CEO of the Prime Minister's Office. Horowitz had accused Benjamin and Sara Netanyahu of misconduct and undue family influence in the office's operations. Atiya, who worked closely with Sara Netanyahu for nearly two years, described his experience as very different from the negative media portrayal. He recalled receiving courteous and friendly treatment, including offers of refreshments, and emphasized that his comments are not politically motivated as he does not support Netanyahu. Atiya stated, "I am on the side of the truth." In contrast, Yaakov Bardugo expressed disgust and shame over the situation. These statements come amid ongoing public scrutiny of the Netanyahu family ahead of elections.
