Haredi Father Seriously Injured After Being Hit on Road 65 Near Elad

A Haredi family from Elad experienced a serious accident on Road 65 near the Nahal Tzalmon interchange on Saturday night. The family had stopped their car on the roadside due to a mechanical issue. The father, aged 36, exited the vehicle wearing a reflective vest as safety protocol dictates. However, a passing car struck him, throwing him into a roadside ditch. Emergency responders arrived promptly and provided medical care to three injured family members. The father sustained severe multiple injuries and was hospitalized in serious condition. His six-year-old son suffered moderate back injuries, while a two-year-old toddler was lightly injured. All three were transported by Magen David Adom to Poriya Medical Center in Tiberias for further treatment.
