Two Children Seriously Injured in ATV Rollover Accident in Ashdod
Two young children, aged 6 and 4, were seriously injured today in Ashdod when an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) overturned. A 36-year-old man was also moderately injured in the incident. All three were transported to Assuta Hospital in Ashdod for medical treatment.
Paramedics from Magen David Adom's motorcycle unit, including Orel Assulin and emergency medical technician Daniel Okunin, responded to the scene at the beach. They found the man and two children lying on the sand, with one child unconscious and suffering from multiple injuries. The paramedics provided initial treatment including bleeding control, bandaging, and medication administration. The two severely injured children were transferred to MDA intensive care ambulances, while the man was taken by a regular ambulance. All were reported to be in stable condition upon hospital arrival.
