MK Gilad Kariv Vows to End Settler Terror Against Palestinians After Khirbet Tuba Attack

MK Gilad Kariv of the Democratic Party issued a statement in Arabic condemning recent violence in Khirbet Tuba, located in the Judea Division, where the IDF reported Israeli civilians setting fire to homes and attacking Palestinians. Kariv labeled these acts as "settler terror" and pledged that his party would act decisively against such violence. He emphasized that these incidents should not be dismissed as mere riots, stating, "When homes are set on fire and people are injured, this is not a riot, it is terror." Kariv stressed the importance of recognizing these attacks as terrorism to effectively address the issue within Israel. Addressing the Arab public in Israel, he committed on behalf of the Democratic Party to categorizing such events as acts of terror and promised firm and unequivocal measures to combat them.
