Maccabi Tel Aviv's Tamir Gold Joins M.C. Otzaf Darom on Loan for Full Senior Season

Tamir Gold, a promising 19-year-old forward from Maccabi Tel Aviv's youth system, will spend the upcoming season on loan at M.C. Otzaf Darom in the Israeli National League. Standing 2.04 meters tall, Gold has previously appeared in several games for Maccabi Tel Aviv's senior team in the Israeli Premier League, including seven regular-season games last season where he averaged 2.1 points in 6.3 minutes per game, and four playoff games with limited minutes.

In addition to his senior team experience, Gold played a key role in Maccabi Tel Aviv's youth squad, helping them secure the national championship last season. He was also named to the Premier League youth All-Star team, averaging 18.2 points and 9.7 rebounds over 10 regular-season games, and 19.3 points with 9.8 rebounds in four playoff games. This loan move marks Gold's first full season competing at the senior professional level, aiming to gain valuable experience in the National League.
