Oded Pozis Takes Control of Novolog, Appoints New Board Amid Ownership Battle
Novolog announced a major board overhaul with Oded Pozis, from the controlling family, appointing himself chairman, replacing former CEO of Tnuva, Arik Shor. Alongside Pozis, new board members include Ofer Lintzveski, Doron Sela, and CPA Sagie Kaduri. The company is managed by Aviad Busi.
This leadership change follows a fierce control struggle. The Pozis family held 26% of Novolog, but tensions rose after Oded Pozis, the third-generation family member, took operational leadership. Pozis accused the previous board of hiding information and blamed them for the sharp stock decline. Last weekend, Eli Dahan, controlling shareholder of Movement, offered a 100 million shekel investment at a 5% premium, which would dilute Pozis’s stake and make Dahan dominant.
To counter this, Pozis bought shares from Phoenix and Arkin groups at a 45% premium, investing 91 million shekels and increasing his stake to 44%, solidifying control. He then proceeded with the board replacement as planned. Pozis became active in Novolog in May after founding and managing hedge fund TreCapital and other ventures.
The new board members bring extensive management experience but limited healthcare sector background. Lintzveski leads Gadot Group and co-founded ValueLBH fund; Sela heads ICON Group; Kaduri has global CFO experience at Strauss Water and Lumines. They replace Shor, Tamar Gottlieb, and Ofer Tzemahi, who resigned, alongside Anat Gabrieli who stepped down earlier amid the control dispute. External directors Ruth Ralbag and Itzik Edelman remain.
Novolog, listed since 2017 and booming during COVID-19, has struggled recently due to impairments from acquisitions and a failed ERP system replacement in 2023, causing operational disruptions and customer losses. Revenues fell 10% to 1.8 billion shekels in 2025, with profits dropping to 4.4 million shekels.
The Pozis family stated their plan includes strengthening management and oversight, appointing professionals with logistics, finance, and management expertise. The business strategy focuses on improving logistics efficiency and profitability through operational excellence and expanding logistics activities in coming years.
