Mother of Fallen IDF Officer Yehonatan Paz Freizler Passes Away

Chanyala Freizler, mother of fallen IDF Lieutenant Colonel Yehonatan Paz Freizler and aunt of Hallel Ariel, who was murdered in a terror attack, has passed away. Yehonatan Paz Freizler died in a car accident while on duty in Rishon Lezion on February 7, 2008, at the age of 30. He was the eldest son of Chanyala and Shmuel Freizler and was born in Jerusalem on May 1, 1977. Chanyala's brother, Amichai Ariel, is the father of Hallel Ariel, who was killed in a terror attack at her home in Kiryat Arba in 2016. Chanyala Freizler's funeral took place on Wednesday at 5:30 PM at the Pardes Hana cemetery, and the family is sitting shiva at their home on Derech HaBanim Street 39 in Pardes Hana.
