Two Young Motorcyclists Seriously Injured in Bus Collision on Ayalon Highway

Two men in their early 20s were seriously injured in a motorcycle accident on the northbound Ayalon Highway (Route 20) near the Arlozorov Bridge in Tel Aviv on Wednesday afternoon. According to Magen David Adom (MDA), the motorcycle they were riding collided with a bus. Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after the accident was reported at 16:59 and provided critical medical care, including stopping bleeding, bandaging, and immobilizing the injured riders.

The two victims were transported by MDA intensive care ambulances to Ichilov Hospital in serious but stable condition. Paramedics Meis Salah, Lehi Katz, and emergency medical technician Aibek Hamuda described the victims as lying on the ground with multiple traumatic injuries caused by the bus collision. They emphasized the life-saving interventions performed on-site before evacuation.

The incident highlights ongoing traffic safety concerns on the busy Ayalon Highway, a major artery in central Israel. Authorities have not yet released further details about the cause of the crash or the condition of the bus driver. The hospital is currently monitoring the patients' status.
