Israeli Securities Authority Allows Investment Managers to Publicly Share Performance Data
The Israeli Securities Authority (ISA) has announced a significant change in investment regulations, permitting all licensed investment entities in Israel to publicly disclose their past performance data. Previously, investment portfolio managers were restricted from sharing their returns with the general public and could only discuss them in private meetings. According to a new draft published by the ISA for public comment, all licensed parties involved in investment advisory, marketing, and portfolio management will now be able to publish historical returns to the public. The ISA emphasized that these disclosures must follow a standardized and controlled methodology designed to prevent selective or misleading presentations. This regulatory update aims to increase transparency in the investment sector and provide investors with clearer information when evaluating investment managers.
