Worker Electrocuted at Netanya Restaurant, Hospitalized in Moderate Condition

A man in his 30s was electrocuted while working at a restaurant near Sironit Beach in Netanya on Tuesday. The incident occurred when he apparently came into contact with an electrical cable. Rescue teams from United Hatzalah arrived promptly, provided initial medical treatment at the scene, and evacuated him to Laniado Medical Center in moderate condition.

Paramedics Ilai Yehuda and Shimon Eliyahu, who were first responders, reported that the victim was electrocuted during work and was stabilized before transport. Electrocuting injuries can cause severe complications such as heart rhythm disturbances, serious burns, muscle and nerve damage, and internal organ harm, even if initial symptoms seem mild. Therefore, victims require thorough medical evaluation and monitoring in hospital.

The exact circumstances leading to the electrocution remain under investigation. United Hatzalah emphasized the dangers of electrical accidents, which are among the most hazardous workplace injuries.
