Israeli Cybersecurity Firm OLIGO Security Raises $60 Million to Expand Runtime Protection

OLIGO Security, an Israeli cybersecurity company specializing in runtime protection for applications, cloud environments, and AI systems, has completed a $60 million funding round led by Ballistic Ventures. The round also included investments from Greenfield Partners, Red Dot Capital, Lightspeed Venture Partners, TLV Partners, and angel investors Yasmin Lokitz and Il Waldman. This latest funding brings OLIGO's total capital raised to $140 million since its founding in 2022.

The company was established by childhood friends and former Israeli cyber defense officers Nadav Cherninsky (CEO), Gal Elbaz (CTO), and Avshalom Hilo (VP of Product), all veterans of elite cyber units such as 8200 and 81. OLIGO currently employs 100 people, with 70 based in its Israeli development center and the remainder in offices in New York and San Francisco.

OLIGO's technology monitors runtime code environments in real time to identify exploitable vulnerabilities, detect malicious behavior as it occurs, and block attacks without disrupting production systems. The platform aims to reduce noise from numerous security alerts and help organizations focus on actual threats. The company reported a more than 300% year-over-year increase in annual recurring revenue and has more than doubled its valuation since its previous funding round.

The new capital will accelerate product development, expand international market presence, and enhance capabilities to stop AI-driven attacks in real time. CEO Nadav Cherninsky emphasized the growing threat posed by attackers using AI to quickly find and exploit vulnerabilities, making runtime environments the critical battleground for defense. Ballistic Ventures partner Jake Seid highlighted OLIGO's innovative approach to protecting production environments without compromising business continuity as a key reason for increasing their investment.
