Israeli Women Face Assault and Anti-Israel Harassment During Spain Vacation

Noya, a young Israeli woman traveling in Spain with friends before their military enlistment, experienced two separate violent and anti-Israel incidents during their stay in Lloret de Mar. At a nightclub, after revealing they were Israeli, a man physically attacked them, pulling at their clothing and threatening violence. Security intervened but the man and an accomplice waited outside, escalating the tension.

Shortly after, a large security guard violently assaulted one of Noya's friends, dragging her across the floor and causing physical injuries and emotional trauma. Attempts by the group to help were met with further violence from other security personnel, who also mocked them while they were distressed. The attackers continued to harass them outside the club until other Israelis and the club owner intervened.

Days later, at a pool party included in their travel package, another Israeli woman was harassed and filmed without consent by a participant who shouted anti-Israel slogans and threatened to post the footage on TikTok. The victim was surrounded and verbally abused, leaving her in tears.

Noya described the experiences as terrifying and abusive, with lasting trauma for her friends. The travel agency through which the vacation was booked stated it had no connection to the parties and condemned any anti-Semitic incidents. These events highlight the dangers Israeli tourists can face abroad amid rising anti-Israel sentiment.
