She emphasizes that flexibility, such as flying midweek or considering multiple destinations, can lead to significant savings, including on short trips of three to four nights that utilize remaining hotel and flight availability.

According to the travel site 'Secret Flights,' the cheapest round-trip flight found is to Larnaca with Wizz Air on August 17 for $168, excluding baggage and sometimes involving less convenient flight times. Other affordable flights under $250 include Rome and Naples, while destinations like Paphos, Bratislava, Varna, Sofia, Bucharest, Warsaw, Sicily, and Batumi have fares up to $300.

Vacation packages found on Gulliver include a 5-star hotel stay with breakfast and Israir flights to Tbilisi, Georgia, from August 8 to 11 for $583 per person based on double occupancy. Another option is a 4-star hotel stay in Budapest, Hungary, from August 6 to 10 with Bluebird flights for $611 per person. These packages demonstrate that even during the busiest summer period, travelers can still find attractive offers by being flexible and acting swiftly.
