MS Ashdod and Bnei Yehuda Secure Wins in Toto Cup National League Matches

The second round of the Toto Cup for the Israeli National League concluded on Monday with eight matches played. MS Ashdod secured their second consecutive victory by defeating Maccabi Jaffa 2-0. This win marks a strong start for Ashdod as they return to the National League after an 11-year absence. Osama Khalailia opened the scoring for Ashdod with a precise penalty, and 18-year-old substitute Maor Kuba doubled the lead.

Bnei Yehuda also claimed a narrow 1-0 victory over MS Kafr Qasim. Under coach Eli Levy, Bnei Yehuda continued their positive momentum from the previous season by handing Kafr Qasim their first defeat of the campaign. Stav Nahmani, who scored twice in the prior round against Ironi Modi'in, netted the decisive goal to secure three points for Bnei Yehuda.
