Elder Daughter Challenges Mother's and Sister's Inheritance Claims Over Father's Estate

A family inheritance dispute has emerged involving tens of millions of shekels after the death of a father who suffered from a rare neurological disease. The eldest daughter discovered only after her father's passing that she had been excluded from his will. She alleges that her mother and younger sister exploited the father's cognitive decline caused by his illness to coerce him into signing a will that disinherits her.

The father's estate includes numerous assets in Israel and abroad, such as apartments, office buildings, and several companies. According to the contested will, drafted several years before his death, the estate is to pass first to the mother and then primarily to the youngest daughter, with only minor shares allocated to the grandchildren, including those of the eldest daughter who was excluded entirely.

However, the eldest daughter disputes this, presenting photographs and evidence of a close and loving relationship with her father, even in his final days. She claims the mother and younger sister deliberately created conflicts to alienate her from the father and took advantage of his deteriorating condition to manipulate the will.

Medical documents submitted by the eldest daughter indicate significant cognitive decline months before the will was signed, suggesting the father was not competent to make such decisions. Her lawyers argue this constitutes a clear violation of his free will and that she is fighting to uphold his true wishes and honor his memory.

Representatives for the mother and youngest daughter declined to comment beyond stating the matter will be resolved in court, not through the media. The eldest daughter emphasizes her fight is motivated by moral duty rather than financial gain, aiming to protect her father's dignity and authentic intentions.
