Six Rescued From Apartment Fire in Ramla Including Three Children

Six people, including three children, were rescued from an apartment fire in Ramla by firefighters from the Ayalon station. The rescue teams conducted searches inside the building and found a couple and three children trapped on the floor where the fire started. Firefighters used rescue masks to safely evacuate the trapped individuals through smoke-filled conditions. All six were transferred to medical teams on site for further treatment.

The fire originated in an electrical cabinet on the building's first floor, rapidly spreading smoke to the stairwell. Fire Chief Shalom Davidovich reported that firefighters focused on rescuing the trapped residents and handing them over safely to medical personnel. Fire crews continued extinguishing the fire, conducting thorough searches throughout the building, and ventilating the apartments.

Due to the extreme heat, a nationwide ban on lighting fires remains in effect until the end of August 2026, as announced on July 30. The fire and rescue operation in Ramla underscores ongoing risks during the hot season and the importance of rapid emergency response.
