Benedict Breakfast Empire Returns with New Restaurants Across Israel

Benedict, the pioneering Israeli breakfast and brunch restaurant chain, is launching a new concept with its latest location in Rishon Lezion. This new branch combines a bakery and Grab & Go service, offering freshly baked breads and pastries throughout the day alongside full table service. The open kitchen allows guests to watch the baking process, and the venue also sells kitchenware and stylish utensils.

Rishon Lezion continues to expand its culinary scene with the opening of a grand new chef-driven restaurant by Dudu Ben Abu, formerly of Amaya. The menu focuses on Canaanite biblical cuisine with modern twists, featuring dishes like celery root gratin, leek consommé, prime rib, and bone marrow. The restaurant includes an open kitchen, bar seating, and a DJ booth.

Haifa welcomes two new cafes: Neche Cafe in the city’s lower area serves breakfast, brunch, and trendy drinks like matcha, while Cafe Shahar offers Korean-style egg drop sandwiches in brioche bread. Both operate with morning to afternoon hours.

In Rehovot, a new cafe by the veteran Cafe Tzion team opened at the Weizmann Institute of Science, featuring outdoor seating with garden views and a menu spanning breakfast, brunch, pasta, salads, fish, gnocchi, and pizzas.

Tel Aviv sees several new openings including Kopishop 51’s third cafe focusing on specialty coffee and pastries, Grand Vin wine shop and bar in Ness Ziona offering Japanese-inspired kosher dishes, and Mamie cafe in the Basel area with stylish pastries and sandwiches. Additionally, a new beachfront skewer restaurant is preparing to open on Herbert Samuel Street.

Other notable openings include the expansion of the Greek tavern Salon Yoni to Bikat Ono and a forthcoming large branch at the Dead Sea, a new large restaurant by the Mina Tomay group in Haifa’s Kstra Center, and new branches from Mojo Sun and Moon sushi chains in Hod Hasharon. The BBB group is also expanding with two new outlets in Beer Yaakov.

Finally, the Nomu Asian restaurant project is nearing completion in Tel Aviv’s Rokach Boulevard, following the closure of the 2C restaurant. The Zuzobra Asian restaurant chain, recently acquired by the owners of Vivino, has launched a new concept in Kfar Saba and plans two more openings in the coming year.
