MK Moshe Solomon Says Netanyahu Now Admits He Was Right on Draft Law
MK Moshe Solomon of the Religious Zionist Party spoke on Kan Moreshet radio, addressing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's recent remarks about the controversial draft and detention law. Solomon recalled that his position on regulating the enlistment of yeshiva students and enforcement against those not studying was clear from the start. He highlighted Netanyahu's admission that the detention law was a mistake and that all individuals not engaged in Torah study should be required to serve in the military. Solomon expressed frustration that his views, which aligned with Netanyahu's current stance, were previously ignored by the political establishment. "I said these things many times myself," Solomon stated, adding regretfully that his warnings were not heeded at the time.
