Report: Portland Could Help Send Giannis to Boston in a Massive NBA Trade

Portland, the team of Deni Avdija, is at the center of NBA trade speculation after a report linked it to two of the league’s biggest stars, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jaylen Brown. The story, published June 13, 2026 at 18:05, says the Trail Blazers could play a key role in a three-team blockbuster that would ultimately send Brown to Portland.

According to reporter Evan Sidery, Portland would act as the third team to ease Antetokounmpo’s move from Milwaukee to Boston, and in return the Blazers would get Brown from the Celtics. The exact structure of the deal is still unclear, but Portland’s involvement is being discussed because it holds valuable draft assets from Milwaukee and has repeatedly been mentioned in Antetokounmpo trade scenarios.

The report says Portland would likely have to give up more than those draft assets to land Brown. Players expected to be included on the Blazers’ outgoing side are Shaedon Sharpe and Jerami Grant, while Milwaukee is also pressuring Portland to include Scoot Henderson.
