Israeli Police Seek Public Help to Locate Missing Haifa Woman Katya Gurevich

Katya (Yekaterina) Gurevich, a 26-year-old resident of Haifa, has been missing for three weeks. She was last seen on July 13, and since then, there has been no trace of her. The police have appealed to the public for assistance in locating her, providing her physical description: 1.65 meters tall, slim build, light hair, and green eyes. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact the Haifa police station or call the emergency number 100.

Gurevich has no close family in Israel; her mother lives in Russia and reported losing contact with her daughter about two to three weeks ago. Ariel, her only relative in Israel, told N12 that Katya immigrated alone from Russia and has been living independently in Israel for a long time. Ariel described her as a good person and expressed hope that the police will find her safe and well.

The family is struggling to reach Katya’s social circles due to the lack of close relatives in Israel and is asking the public to provide any leads. They request that anyone who has seen her, heard from her, or knows people who worked or interacted with her in Haifa to come forward and help with the search.
