Israel U18 Girls Basketball Team Dominates Norway 84-25 in European Championship

The Israeli under-18 girls basketball team secured a commanding 84-25 victory over Norway on Saturday, maintaining an undefeated record in the Division B European Championship. Coached by Roy Eisenberg, the Israeli squad showcased exceptional defensive skills, limiting Norway to just 17 points in the first half and only 8 in the second. Their strong defense combined with impressive three-point shooting, hitting 11 triples at a 47.8% success rate, allowed Israel to lead by 34 points at halftime, 51-17.

The second half saw Israel continue to extend their lead in a largely one-sided contest. Leading scorers for Israel included Maayan Gorin with 18 points and Tamar Carmi with 17 points. Other notable contributors were Maya Zilbershlag with 8 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists, as well as Savion Kamer and Mika Yanai, each scoring 7 points.
