Reina in Advanced Talks With Former Hapoel Jerusalem Striker Ibe Ransom
Bnei Reina is in advanced negotiations to sign striker Ibe Ransom, who left Hapoel Jerusalem after two seasons. The 23-year-old, a Nigerian-born player who holds Israeli citizenship, became one of the hottest transfer targets in the National League after his contract in Jerusalem ended.
Ransom scored two goals in all competitions this season and five the season before. Reina, the newly relegated side, views him as an ideal replacement for Vitaly Damashkan.
He is not only on Reina’s radar. M.S. Ashdod, Hapoel Rishon LeZion, and other National League clubs are also pursuing him. Because he is a free agent and counts as an Israeli player, he is especially attractive to teams in the second tier.
Ransom is still waiting for offers from the Premier League, but for now he has been offered higher salaries in the National League than he earned at Hapoel Jerusalem. The report was published on June 13, 2026, at 10:19.
