Former Hapoel Haifa Player Says Hapoel Be'er Sheva Weaker Without Kings Kangwa Ahead of Champions League Clash

Serbian media outlet Meridian sought the opinion of Andrea Radulovic, a former Hapoel Haifa player familiar with Israeli football, ahead of the upcoming matches in Serbia. Radulovic praised Be'er Sheva as a strong team that deservedly won the Israeli championship, highlighting their quality football and skilled coach.

However, Radulovic emphasized that the team's key strength was Kings Kangwa, who played exceptionally well. He believes Be'er Sheva is significantly weaker without Kangwa, as the player often resolved difficult situations on the field. Radulovic described Kangwa as the best player in the entire league and noted that his departure poses a major challenge for the team.

On the offensive side, Radulovic mentioned Igor Zlatanovic, a striker well-known to Serbian football fans, as a notable player for Be'er Sheva. He also shared details about his own near-transfer to Be'er Sheva in January, which fell through due to failed negotiations with Rapid and the escalation of the war, which worsened conditions in Be'er Sheva compared to Haifa. Despite injury setbacks, Radulovic said he has recovered and is ready for the new season.
