Route 1 to Jerusalem Closed at Motza Interchange Overnight for Safety and Maintenance Work

Route 1 heading towards Jerusalem will be closed at the Motza Interchange from 10:00 PM until 10:00 AM the following morning due to safety, maintenance, and engineering work on the Motza Bridge. This update was provided by Netivei Israel, the national transport infrastructure company. During the closure, vehicle traffic will not be allowed to pass through the interchange towards Jerusalem. Drivers coming from Tel Aviv will be redirected to exit at the Motza ramp, where they can either rejoin Route 1 towards Jerusalem or continue via Route 16 as an alternative route.
