Maccabi Tel Aviv advanced to the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League after eliminating Sheriff Tiraspol, guaranteeing themselves an additional €200,000 bonus. This raises their total UEFA earnings to €750,000, up from the initial €550,000, based on their guaranteed minimum of reaching the Conference League playoff stage even if they lose in the Europa League third qualifying round.

The club, coached by Kenny Miller, is assured of a European season if they win the Europa League third qualifying round or the Conference League playoff. Given their high UEFA coefficient, Maccabi Tel Aviv is expected to be seeded in the Conference League playoff if they drop down, which would likely secure their entry into the competition and a participation income of €3.17 million, including an additional €2.42 million beyond the current bonuses. Should they qualify for the group stage, their total UEFA earnings could reach €4.31 million.

These payments are made as lump sums and could significantly impact Maccabi Tel Aviv's financial outlook for the upcoming season. Additionally, if Beitar Jerusalem and Hapoel Tel Aviv advance later the same evening, each club will receive an extra €200,000 bonus, increasing their guaranteed sums from €350,000 for elimination in the second qualifying round to €550,000 for elimination in the third qualifying round.
