Health Ministry Orders Water Boil Advisory in Shitula Following Abnormal Test Results
The Israeli Ministry of Health has issued a directive requiring residents of the Shitula settlement to boil their water before drinking, cooking, preparing medications, or brushing teeth. This advisory follows the detection of abnormal water sampling results in the community. While the water must be boiled for these specific uses, it remains permissible to use the water for bathing and sanitation purposes without boiling. The boil water order will remain in effect until further notice, according to the Ministry of Health's update.
