British Airways Extends Suspension of Flights to Israel Until October 2026

British Airways has announced it will continue suspending all flights to and from Tel Aviv until October 25, 2026. The airline initially halted service during the "Roar of the Lion" conflict and now confirms it will not resume flights even through the upcoming summer and holiday seasons, limiting direct travel options between Israel and London.

When flights resume on October 26, 2026, British Airways plans to operate a significantly reduced schedule, with only one daily flight between Tel Aviv and London instead of its previous extensive timetable. This limited service is expected to last throughout the winter season until March 28, 2027, unless the airline decides to expand operations later.

Passengers affected by cancellations can either reroute their travel through connecting cities such as Athens or Larnaca or receive a full refund for their tickets. British Airways' decision follows similar moves by other international carriers that have yet to fully restore their services to Israel, despite gradual recovery in passenger traffic at Ben Gurion Airport.
