Netanyahu Meets Evangelical Leaders, AIPAC, and US Senators in Washington
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara met in Washington with leaders of the evangelical community and senior officials from AIPAC, according to the Prime Minister's Office. Netanyahu expressed gratitude for the evangelicals' support of Israel and urged them to stand firm against antisemitism, stating, "Do not be intimidated. When faced with an attack, respond with force. Now is the time to fight."
Following this, Netanyahu held a meeting at the Blair House with U.S. Senators Tom Cotton, John Fetterman, Tim Scott, and Ted Cruz. He thanked them for their support of the U.S.-Israel alliance. Senator Fetterman remarked that he is proud to be "the conscience of the Democratic Party in Congress" and to stand alongside Israel.
