Veteran Journalist Oren Nahari Ends Radio Career to Battle Muscular Dystrophy
Journalist Oren Nahari revealed several months ago that he has been diagnosed with muscular dystrophy. Despite his illness, Nahari remained active professionally, publishing a book, producing a podcast series, and continuing to host his weekly radio show. However, due to a rapid decline in his health this week, he recorded his final radio program and bid farewell to the microphone after more than four decades in the industry. His colleague Itamar Meiri, who worked alongside him in the foreign desk at Channel One, has supported him during the past months.
