Hapoel Be'er Sheva guaranteed at least a spot in the UEFA Conference League group stage after defeating Vikingur in the Champions League qualifiers on July 29, 2026. This victory ensures the Israeli champions a minimum participation in European competition this season, with substantial financial rewards. Under UEFA's qualification format, if Be'er Sheva is eliminated from the Champions League qualifiers, they will enter the Europa League playoff round; if they lose there as well, they will drop into the Conference League group stage.

The club has already secured an initial UEFA grant of 3.17 million euros for Conference League group stage participation. Advancing to the Europa League group stage would increase this to 4.31 million euros, while reaching the Champions League group stage would yield 18.62 million euros. Additionally, Be'er Sheva earned 1.1 million euros for winning the Israeli Premier League, including 750,000 euros for Conference League playoff participation and 260,000 euros guaranteed for the domestic champion not reaching a European group stage.

So far, the club has added 2.07 million euros from their recent European progress, with potential for more as the season unfolds. The Conference League group stage features six matches, with teams drawn into six pots, playing three home and three away games. The group stage matches are scheduled from October 15 to December 17, 2026, with Europa League knockout rounds following in January 2027.
