Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Tel Aviv EuroLeague Schedules Released for 2026/27 Season
The full schedule for the 2026/27 EuroLeague season was released on Wednesday, detailing the fixtures for Israel's two representatives, Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Tel Aviv. The regular season will begin on September 24 and include 38 rounds. Maccabi Tel Aviv is set to play seven of its games on Saturdays, while Hapoel Tel Aviv will have five games on Friday evenings.
Both teams will start their campaigns on Thursday, September 24, with Hapoel hosting Bayern Munich and Maccabi visiting Villeurbanne. Early notable matches include Hapoel facing Red Star Belgrade in round two and Real Madrid in round three, while Maccabi will host Besiktas in round two and play an away game against Panathinaikos on Friday, October 2.
The first Tel Aviv derby in the EuroLeague will take place on November 12 (round 11) with Maccabi hosting Hapoel, and the teams will meet again on December 29 (round 20) with Hapoel as hosts. Both clubs will face top EuroLeague teams multiple times, including Maccabi hosting Real Madrid in round seven and visiting them in round 24, as well as matches against Barcelona and others. Hapoel will also play Barcelona twice and face Panathinaikos and Real Madrid during the season.
The regular season will conclude on April 15, with Maccabi hosting Baskonia and Hapoel finishing away against Anadolu Efes.
