Hapoel Haifa secured their second victory of the 2026/27 season by defeating Ironi Tiberias 3-1 in the Toto Cup on Tuesday. The win, highlighted by a brace from Alon Turgeman, strengthens Haifa's bid to reach the semi-finals. Coach Haim Silvas emphasized the match's importance despite it being a Toto Cup game, noting the team’s preparation and gradual improvement. On the losing side, interim Tiberias coach Moti Krispil acknowledged a weaker first half and praised his team's second-half effort. The club is currently dealing with the suspension of Eliran Hodeda amid an ongoing investigation.
