Rabbi Chaim Feinstein Leads Prayers for Marriage Matches at Holy Site on Tu B'Av

As Tu B'Av approaches, a day traditionally regarded by the sages as one of the most auspicious for Israel, a special prayer event is being organized at the tomb of Rabbi Yonatan ben Uziel in Amuka, known as a powerful place for finding marriage matches. This event addresses the deep pain felt by parents whose children have reached marriageable age without yet finding a spouse, a struggle often accompanied by social pressure and emotional hardship.

Rabbi Chaim Feinstein, head of the yeshiva, will personally lead the prayers, acting as an advocate and compassionate intercessor for every individual name submitted for the ceremony. At the climax of the event, he will sign a "Matchmaking Document" (Shtar HaShidduchim), symbolizing a spiritual commitment to help open the gates for suitable matches.

The initiative combines pure charity to the Rabbinical Committee, endorsed by leading rabbis, with the powerful prayers of a great Torah leader on a day and place renowned for its spiritual efficacy.
